I've done fresh start (no cache) massacre leveling in like 2.5h~3h on DH before and I'm not a good player at all, the first two Seals should cut this in half easily just by the higher xp and waaaaay more consistent 400+ streaks. You should be able to maintain 400 streak on any class extremely easily AND have double xp on top of it, plus you get the perma pool bonus as well early on (since you go without cache, no need for the level requirement). Wait for actual PTR to be certain, but I think people are vastly underestimating the first seal for double massacre bonus and duration. With the new theme not sure if this is the better start or the 15th step of the season theme requires a CR cache.
So you could have a level 70 item at level 40. You can land anywhere from one to thirty. And lastly you can now craft a level 70 rare and roll at the mystic to reforge one of it's stats into reduce level requirement. Make a class specific level 70 rare and upgrade it once you've gotten the cube into a legendary and extract its power to the cube. You now have enough mats to gamble at Kadala for hopefully a great class specific item. You have now started the season with 5,000,000 gold and plenty of crafting mats. Then you create a game claim your challenge rift cache.
Create a character and complete your challenge rift. That should basically be the first thing you do season opener night. So it resets Monday but you WAIT until season start Friday night. The plan is you wait until Friday to do the challenge rift on the week of the season to start.
